Justin Hodder Justin has worn hearing
aids since he was five years old. With many of his previous hearing aids, there
were many situations where he had difficulty hearing, such as watching television or having a conversation
in a noisy restaurant. Because of these challenges, Justin found that he was avoiding social situations.
However, his Next™ 16 Moxi™ Behind-the-Ear (BTE) hearing instruments have improved his ability to hear
in these listening situations and hear sounds that he has never heard before. |

Since he began wearing his Next hearing instruments, Justin has noticed a difference
right away: “The sound quality is excellent and they handle background noise really well.” And Justin
knows about background noise. Working in a steel mill, Justin moves between a very noisy factory and
a very quiet office: “Even with the loud noises of the mill, I can still have a conversation with my
colleagues. As I move between the different areas of the building, the hearing aids transition their
settings very smoothly.” When Justin needs to make manual adjustments to his
hearing instruments, he uses the Smart Control remote to do this: “It’s a great tool. The big buttons
and backlighting are really helpful. I can keep the remote in my pocket and adjust my hearing aids at
the same time without putting my hand up to my ears. I only use the remote to make adjustments to my
hearing aids.” |
