Unitron Hearing Introduces Breeze™

Kitchener, ONTARIO — Unitron Hearing, a manufacturer of easy-to-use digital hearing solutions, announced today the introduction of their latest digital hearing instrument, Breeze™. Breeze combines the benefits of digital with the ease of conventional, trimmer-controlled fittings.

Hearing Healthcare Professionals can achieve a quick, accurate fitting with Breeze’s simple, trimmer-based controls. As the trimmer controls are rotated, clients receive an audible signal of the adjustments allowing them to provide input on their preferences for an individualized fit.

"Unitron Hearing is committed to meeting the needs of emerging markets, including those with limited access to computer technology,” said Michael Jones, President and CEO, Unitron Hearing. “Breeze promises to be a very important to these markets as we can now offer them digital hearing products when previously they might have only had access to analog products."

Breeze addresses a wide range of hearing losses, from mild to severe and is available in two preset processing strategies: WDRC and AGCo. For mild and moderately severe hearing losses, Breeze WDRC allows for restoration of normal loudness growth permitting wearers to hear soft sounds. For mild to severe hearing losses, Breeze AGCo offers the advantages of compression for louder inputs. Breeze also incorporates quiet mode expansion which reduces gain for very soft inputs, yet preserves moderately soft inputs such as speech, allowing your clients to enjoy more natural, clean sound.

Breeze is available in a range of styles from BTE to CIC.
