Unitron Hearing Launches Kids Klub Web Site and Parents' Corner

Kitchener, ONTARIO -- Unitron Hearing, a manufacturer of easy-to-use digital hearing solutions, today announced the launch of its Kids Klub web site, an online support tool designed for children with hearing loss and their parents.

Since its inception ten years ago, Kids Klub has helped countless children learn more about hearing loss and how to live and care for their hearing aids. Now, with the launch of the new Kids Klub web site, children can go online to learn about hearing, play interactive games, read stories and print resource checklists for their caregivers.

Children are introduced to Moki and Pip, two fun characters, who guide children through their adventure of learning how ears work, what hearing loss is, how to take care of hearing aids and how to explain hearing loss to others.

Parent’s Corner, a companion resource for parents and caregivers of children with hearing loss, offers guidance, support and practical tips on how you and others can get your child off to the best start after he or she is diagnosed with a hearing loss.

The design and content of the Kids Klub web site was based on extensive research including surveys, user tests and consultations with hearing healthcare professionals who specialize in pediatric audiology. All aspects of the site are age appropriate, informative and interactive with the purpose of promoting understanding and quality of life through better hearing.
